Dr. Usman Siddiq is a compassionate and highly skilled veterinarian and veterinary microbiologist with over five years of experience in animal care and research. He completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from a prestigious university in Pakistan, where he graduated second in his class in the veterinary medicine course for preventive care.
Dr. Siddiq has expertise in various veterinary medicine areas, including preventative medicine, immunization, serology, feeding, and surgical interventions. He is also experienced in working with various medical equipment for diagnosing, treating, and researching medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals. Dr. Siddiq is a registered veterinarian with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) and has worked as a veterinarian for companion animals.
Today, Dr. Siddiq is a veterinary science lecturer at the Department of Pathobiology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. He also serves as the product manager for pet medicines and diagnostic equipment. Dr. Siddiq is passionate about animal welfare and is involved in various animal rights organizations, including PETA and other NGOs that help and save animals.
Dr. Siddiq has published several research papers in prestigious journals, including “Rabies Virus Exploits Cytoskeleton Network to Cause Early Disease Progression and Cellular Dysfunction,” “An Unusual Large Polythene Bezoar in the Rumen of a Fallow Deer (Dama dama),” and “Use of Organic Minerals as Immune System Stimulants in Transition Dairy Cows: A Mini-Review.” He has also received academic excellence awards, including one from A and K Pharmaceuticals.
In addition to his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Dr. Siddiq holds an MPhil and was an international Mevlana Exchange Scholar in Animal Production and Technologies in Turkey. He has expertise in veterinary medicine development and management and is committed to improving animal health and welfare through his work as a veterinarian, researcher, and lecturer.
